Liebe Musiker und Freunde der Folk-Musik,
unser Folkclub Isaar ist kein großer Verein und verfügt nur über einen ziemlich kleinen Saal. Wir haben normalerweise 100 Sitzplätze, mehr nicht.
Warum viele Künstler trotzdem sehr gerne zu uns kommen, liegt an der besonderen Atmosphäre. Der Saal befindet sich in einem alten urigen Dorfwirtshaus, in dem die Zeit stehen geblieben zu sein scheint. Während der Konzerte ist es vollkommen still, niemand redet, unser Publikum ist ausgesprochen aufmerksam und geht auf die Musiker ein. Dazu kommt der freundschaftliche Umgang mit dem Wirt und der persönliche Kontakt mit den Mitarbeitern vom Folkclub. Wir können also keine hohen Besucherzahlen bieten, aber eine interessante altmodische Umgebung.
Dear Artists
The Folkclub Isaar is a quite small one. We offer seats for about 100 visitors. The reason for so many artists to come to Isaar is the special atmosphere there. The concerts take place in an oldstyle pub in the countryside, where time seems to stand still. While the artists are playing on stage the audience keeps silent and is very attentive. Furthermore, the musicians can always expect a friendly and personal contact with the host and the members of the Folkclub. So we can't guarantee for a very big audience, but for a nice and oldfashioned site.
